Your first head spa visit

Your first head spa at Elegant Head Spa takes about 70 to 80 minutes door to door: ten minutes to arrive and change, then 60 minutes for Gold or 70 for ELELUX. You need nothing special. Book on Fresha and come with your hair as it is.

Booking

Book online on Fresha. If you are not sure which to choose, start with Gold Relaxation Head Spa ($98, 60 minutes). Most services take a $15 deposit, which goes toward your visit. Booking for two? Use Book group appointment so you are scheduled together.

Arriving

We are at 1014 Fair Oaks Ave, South Pasadena, with free parking in front and behind. Arrive about ten minutes early. We will show you where to change into a robe and store your things.

The scalp check

Your therapist starts at the arched mirror with a small scalp camera and shows you a magnified view on screen. It takes a couple of minutes and helps them choose how to cleanse and how much oil to use.

At the basin

You lie back on a padded bed with your neck supported and your head over a heated basin. Your eyes are covered. The rest is warm water, massage and quiet. Speak up anytime if you want the water warmer or cooler, or more or less pressure.

Afterwards

We finish with a hydrating scalp tonic. Your hair has been washed, so bring a hair tie or a hat if you have plans after, and give yourself a slow evening.
