What is a viral head spa?
A viral head spa is a slow scalp cleanse and massage done while you lie back at a heated basin, with warm running water, rich lather and a magnified look at your scalp on screen. It became known through videos shared on social media. At Elegant Head Spa in South Pasadena, our viral head spa is the Gold Relaxation Head Spa (60 minutes, $98) and the ELELUX Head Spa (70 minutes, $165).
How long does a head spa take?
Gold takes 60 minutes and ELELUX takes 70. Head spa and massage packages run 90 to 100 minutes. Please arrive about 10 minutes early.
How much does it cost?
Gold Relaxation Head Spa is $98 and ELELUX Head Spa is $165. Scalp Massage Only is $50 for 30 minutes. Every price is on our Menu page.
What is the difference between Gold and ELELUX?
ELELUX includes every Gold step and adds aromatherapy oils, organic shampoo and conditioner, a scalp serum, LED light and a hydro-cleanse, with ten more minutes at the basin.
Will a head spa help with hair loss?
A head spa is a relaxation and cleansing service, not a medical treatment, and we make no hair-growth claims. If you are concerned about hair loss, please see a dermatologist.
Do I pay a deposit?
Most services take a $15 deposit when you book online through Fresha. It goes toward your visit.
What should I wear?
Whatever is comfortable. We provide a robe and towels, and you can change in private.
Can I book with a partner or friend?
Yes. Choose Book group appointment on Fresha to book two or more people at the same time, and we will seat you side by side when rooms allow.
Is there parking?
Yes. Free parking is in front of and behind the building at 1014 Fair Oaks Ave.
What are your hours?
We are open Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Do you offer facials?
Yes: Hydration Facial ($145), Lymphatic Facial Drainage ($135) and Teen Facial ($85), each 60 minutes. You can also add a facial to the Gold head spa for $176 total.
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes. Gift cards are sold online through Fresha. Choose Send a gift and pick the amount and the person it is for.
